An unglazed zisha teapot in the shi piao shape, thrown and finished by a single maker in Yixing. The clay is porous and holds the memory of the tea it is used for, so it is best kept to one kind, whether rolled oolong or aged pu-erh. It holds 220 millilitres, has a single-hole spout and a fitted lid. Rinse with hot water only, never soap, and let it dry open between sessions. The pot is unglazed inside and out, and comes in a padded box.
